Airmid healthgroup Ltd (AHG) is a successful, rapidly expanding environmental health business based in the vibrant city of Dublin and is currently gearing up for the launch of its next phase of service offerings. To help do this AHG is seeking an energetic and ambitious occupational hygienist to join our rapidly expanding team.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of a broad range of top quality services to include indoor air quality surveys, workplace exposure monitoring, noise, lighting, chemical risk assessment, fit testing and local exhaust ventilation (LEV) examination/ testing using recognised methods.
  • Production of top quality, accurate and clearly written reports.
  • Communication of findings and recommendations to customers.
  • Development of cutting edge sampling strategies and innovative techniques for assessing and solving air quality issues.
  • Development and revision of standard operating procedures.
  • Responsibility for the development of R&D.

Ideal Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree level in a science related subject with a post graduate diploma in occupational hygiene
  • BOHS Certificate in occupational hygiene or working towards it.
  • A background in a health related area with monitoring experience in the healthcare setting.
  • Research Experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • The ability to produce accurate and clearly written reports is essential.
  • Excellent communication and team working skills with strong commercial awareness
  • A full driving licence is also essential.
