OHSI 21st Annual Conference
“Navigating Current and Future Challenges” 21st and 22nd February 2012
Workshop
Testing Compliance with OELS
Tuesday 21st February 2012
Duration 2:00pm - 5:00pm
Legislation usually takes a 'pass or fail' approach to exposure limits, but with exposure being so variable how can we be sure that we will not exceed a limit? It is diffcult to come up with a statistically sound procedure without requiring an impracticable amount of measurements. This session explains the BOHS-NVvA guidance on this topic. Participants should bring a laptop and be prepared to do some calculations.
Presented by Trevor Ogden,
Past Editor of Annals of Occupational Hygiene
and co-chair of the BOHS-NVvA group
